I found that commenting for traffic was a useful tool initially, but these days I comment more just for fun (and tbh I probably comment more now than I used to!)

Frank just wanted to say thanks for sharing your tips. I'm also commenting on different blogs to build relationship with fellow bloggers and to join healthy discussions for a few weeks now. Your tips/article just confirmed I'm doing the right thing.

All those reasons are perfectly valid - I know some people that would disagree with you about commenting being the number one way to get traffic back to your blog. I think it is though, but I had a question why is it that you choose your name as the title and url of your blog.

You have way too much time in your day if you can comment on 36 blogs.

I only do 34.

Just found your blog today. Really like it - keep up the good work.Domain info more important than you think :-)Domain information such as DNS, age of domain and even the expiration date are used to distinguish between illegitimate and legitimate domains. Why are google doing this? Simply to get all the factors they can to get an internal "trust score".This "trust score" is used to eliminate "doorway" pages and spam in the search result.I'M not saying that it's working perfectly - but they are doing a pretty good job.

Commenting Blogs is a good thing, and your idea is very well arrange one.
I started commenting a lot more on blogs to gain benefits to my own site, and to start building relationships with other Blog Owners. Such is also a good thing to do. I try to make my comments related to the topic as much as possible. I really hate spam and comments that comes from an auto comment submitter.

But I try to find blogs of related content so I can find myself on a familiar place of interest and knowledge.

Sometimes I look for a divert place to place comments or what I think about the subject or content. I really believe exposing yourself to other topics will also get you and your site recognize, favor and ranked.

Not to mention the possibilities of finding new clients for the affiliate products you promote on your site.

I like your blog and your blog content so I decided to subscribe on your Rss.
