7 Wordpress Ajax Plugins

Ajax is very popular when it comes to Wordpress. There are many Wordpress Ajax plugins out there but these are definitely my favorite ones. I have used many of these plugins on different blogs I have created. He found with the functionality of my blog is a Blog better when I am using Ajax and plugins that go with it. It is definitely recommended if you are not already using Ajax plugins.

AJAXed Wordpress – AJAXed Wordpress (aWP) is an extremely powerful plugin that harnesses the power of AJAX and Wordpress to improve the user experience, the administration capabilities and the design potential of any Wordpress based blog.

WP-Polls – WP-Polls is extremely customizable via templates and css styles and there are tons of options for you to choose to ensure that WP-Polls runs the way you wanted. It now supports multiple selection of answers.

WP Ajax Edit Comments – WP Ajax Edit Comments (for WP 2.5+) allows users and admins to edit comments on a post. Users can edit their own comments for a limited time, while admins can edit all comments.

Wordpress Thread Comment – This Plugin is an enhancement for Wordpress’s comment function. It enables users to reply on a exist comment, and the discussion will be displayed threaded or nested.

Ajax Comment Preview – Other preview plugins don’t know what sort of changes WordPress will make to a visitor’s comment, but this plugin uses AJAX and other buzzwords to send each previewed comment through WordPress’ inner voodoo.

So those are the Ajax plugins that I use with my Wordpress Blog. Going back through them I have noticed that I have not used them all for many months. I use a few of them all the time but others I used here in there. If you have any questions about them I can definitely help you. I can especially help you with the threaded comments because absolutely love it. It is way better than the threaded comments that come with Wordpress 2.7.

Nice selection. Ajax does wonders for any site. I can say that wp-polls and the threaded comments plugin works wonderful. There’s a poll on my most recent post right now and I love how easy it is to implement and use.

I was wondering if you able to install the wp-codebox on wp2.7, because I’m getting a fatal error when activating the plugins. Also base from the info, it only support wp 2.5 below. Still looking for better code highlighter for wp2.7
