Most bloggers have come to love Twitter. There are many Twitter WordPress plugins that can make your blogging life a lot easier just like the SEO WordPress plugins I talked about yesterday. Many of these Twitter plugins are similar to each other, but some people like one more than the others. I recommend just trying each one of them out and then get rid of the ones you don’t like. I only use one of the Twitter plugins, I know some people that have used a couple different ones together.
Twitter Tools
This is the Twitter plugin that I use of my blog. You are able to choose which posts you want to make a tweet out of.
Twitter Widget Pro
This is a nice Twitter plug-in that allows you to create a widget with all your Twitter updates. Twitter tools can also do this as I have one in my sidebar. However, this one that creates a widget looks different than the Twitter tools widget.
Twitter for Wordpress
This plugin for WordPress does some of the same things as the ones above.
Twitme
I like this plugin becomes allows people the choice of making a twit out of your blog posts.
TwitterCounter
Many people have been using this as social proof. Just like people use the Feedburner counter.
If you’re going to be a blogger using Twitter then you might as well make the most out of it. Use these Twitter WordPress plug-ins to do a lot of stuff for you automatically so you don’t have to do it manually.

Thank you for mentioning my plugin (Twitme)
Of course, nice plugin.
Nice list of Twitter tools. I’m yet to try any of them though.
Definitely do! They’re worth it if you use Twitter.
I was looking for a wordpress twitter plugin. Thanks for sharing
No problem.
With twitter tools, can you choose to tweet past posts also?
You can checkmark it if you edit a past post & then save it.
Great info on twitter. I’m having trouble actually integrating my twitter with my wordpress theme. I’m putting in a call to the guy who created my theme.
There probably is something wrong with your theme then. I wonder if it could also be a different plugin that is affecting your Twitter plugin. How many Twitter plugins have you used?
It was a problem with the theme. I got it going on my personal site! Thanks for the reply!
