All Twitter

Get all Twitter related posts and tools. Also learn what all Twitter does for me.

How I Use Twitter – I use Twitter to get to know people. Too many times people create blogs and never get to know people. Twitter is a way to get to know people and show that you’re not a robot. Companies I consult tend to be robots also. They expect to just write a post for their company blog and never have any contact with customers that read it. The more one-on-one contact you have with the customer the better chance you have to make a sale.

Twitter is a wonderful way to get to know your customers and get feedback. Same with a blog. You get to know people that read your blog or get to know people that you can convert into your readers. I always rather have loyal readers and Twitter has done that for me. I get to know people better and they get to know me better. They become more willing to read my blog because they tend to like me on a personal level. Twitter for me is more about building long-term relationships than anything else. It is an easy way to get your name out there and the more you get people talking about you the better. That is why I use Twitter.

Tools I Use:

Twitterfox – I love TwitterFox because it connects right on to the Firefox browser. It will let me know when users I am following have posted something or replied to my tweets. I am also able to post my own tweets and respond to other peoples.

Twitter Tools – I use Twitter tools because I like to show what I have currently been posting on Twitter. It makes my blog more personal and that is what I have been working towards since creating this blog. It shows my recent posts on Twitter in my sidebar. It also creates a new tweet everytime I post an article on the blog.

Good stuff, Franklin!

I agree that Twitter is awesome! Although, I just started using Twitter a few weeks ago I wonder how did I ever get along without it. Yes, it allows you to get to know the other bloggers better and build a relationship with them in a passive manner.

I say passive because it is not like a phone call or instant messaging, it is totally on your schedule. It is more like delayed instant messaging. But those conversations you have or Twits where you learn more about the other person goes a long way towards building a relationship.

I am following you on Twitter and looking forward to continuing to build our relationship.

Peace to the Bloggers!

Hey, Twitter is great. When I started it seemed terrible. Now I love it! The benefits of Twitter relationships are easy to see after 6 months.

I was using twitter just great until they suspended my account they said I was spamming. I’m not sure how you can spam on twitter. I am back on twitter again because they won’t unsuspend my other account.

Excellent articles, this ones a keeper!

OK now, there are so many “tools” now for tweeting without opening twitter…is twitterfox really good?

I want to start off on the right foot, not downloading 100 apps and getting all flustered.

I love Twitterfox but if you do not have the Firefox browser then it will not work. It is nice because you can post there, and get replies there. You can do all that without ever going to the Twitter homepage. Basically that is why I love Twitter Fox.

Oh yea. I’ve been using FF pretty exclusively for a while now. :)

Hey Franklin

Thanks for sharing such an awesome list of Twitter articles. Though I don’t fully maximize its use, I never doubt the power of Twitter as a promotional tool.

Hey, you’ve changed your blog design. So much better now with a different tagline..;). It’s more subtle in my opinion.

Thanks a lot Yan. Twitter can be amazing whether you use it right or not. But it’s even better if you know how to use it to promote your blog.

Yeah, I decided to create my own blog design. I’m a self-taught web designer which I am happy about. I wanted something that was a simple design and I knew exactly what I wanted so I’m glad I had the skills to do it. I also went for a simple tagline. I’m happy you think it is better.

I checked out your blog a couple weeks ago and it seems like it is becoming very successful. Keep up the good work.
