I think you're missing one... the URL. Remember the fact that the blog title keywords are also in the URL most of the time.

Also, you have to always build links. If your site has no links, it almost doesn't matter what your blog title is.

I'd have to say most of my traffic is social....whether it be social networks, blog commenting or whatever, so my titles seem to work very well so far.

The title question helps to ensure the click through, the post ending questions helps to ensure the comment ;)

I didn't mean to post this under uncategorized. I probably should change it so I'm happy you pointed it out.

That is unbelievable that 55% of your traffic comes from search engines. Well, you know you are writing your post titles correctly when you are getting traffic from the keywords in those titles. You should definitely try to get traffic from social media also now. You might have to change the way you write titles for social media to get a lot of traffic from it though. I am always torn when deciding if I should write a blog post title for social media or search engines.

It doesn't really matter if you're going for good search engine rankings. It just depends on where you are trying to get your traffic from.

Thanks a lot. Sorry I wasn't able to get back your comment right away because I was away for a couple of days. It is awesome that you are able to see the heartbeat of the whole Internet so that you can attack it. I am happy you like my tips.

Sorry I was not able to get back to you right away. I was away for a couple of days. I really had to take into consideration that they were posting many times within the same hour and those were some of my rules. I tried to be fair as I could be when I see a lot of people complain after contest throughout the Internet.

Now for the search engine part. I have actually done this and it is really working good for my search engine rankings. It takes a little time, but after a month or two it really does work. Also, congratulations on the wedding and your own redesign.
