Blogging School Now Open

by Franklin Bishop on November 7, 2008

I know this is a little late but I’m here to announce Blogging School on my blog finally. It actually opened on November 1, 2008 and I’ve already had 4,986 people sign up (I know, I need to update the web site already). What is Blogging School? Well, I have went through tons and tons of articles on the Internet. I chose the best ones that I believe bloggers could learn from. I then grouped them together so that I could create lessons out of them.

I write a few paragraphs at the beginning of every lesson. These paragraphs give an introduction of information that you will be reading. They also point out some of the things you should be looking for in the articles and what you should try to remember.

For example, I have one lesson where it is all about making money blogging. I then have put together a group of articles that everyone should read to make the most money possible on their blog. It doesn’t make sense for me to write out the same things that these articles are already talking about. All the information you need is on the World Wide Web. I write a couple sentences about every article so you can decide whether you want to read it or not. That is basically what a lesson will typically look like.

I decided to do it this way because it is a little different than any system I have seen. Why pay hundreds of dollars to read the same information that you can find all across the Internet? Well, a lot of people do not know where to look to find the articles that can help them with their blog. I have found those articles for you so you’ll never have to pay that kind of money for help again.

Over time this system will get better. However, you will have to be patient with me as I get feedback and make changes. I will make sure to e-mail you about any changes that have been made to Blogging School unless you had already unsubscribed.

What I like about this system is that it is teaching you how to make a better blog, get traffic, get more subscribers, and make money. So you might say that this is just like any other system on the Internet. However, I teach that you create a great blog and then try to grow an e-mail marketing list. It is truly easy to monetize your e-mails. You’ll learn step-by-step how to make money with e-mail marketing and how to use it with your blog. Using these two together is the combination that the rich bloggers are using whether they want to admit it or not.

You will receive a new lesson in your e-mail inbox every two days. Here are the different lessons in Blogging School:

  • The Beginning
  • Setting up Your Blog
  • Blog Design
  • Post Titles and Content
  • Blog Promotion and Traffic
  • RSS and Subscribers
  • Social Media
  • SEO
  • Blog for Cash
  • E-Mail Marketing (E-Books and Newsletters)

If you sign up for Blogging School and do not like it, then you can unsubscribe whenever you like. You can always help by letting me know what you would want to see more of. You can of course let me know of any articles that you think should be added to Blogging School also. I have so many articles bookmarked that I’m sure I can find any article that relates to blogging.

I was amazed that so many people signed up but I’m guessing it’s mostly from Twitter. We’ll just have to see if it continues to go up.

Congratulations Franklin, almost 5000 is a fantastic start. That list is already bigger than most people have been building for month upon months.
