Cool list… and thanks for giving the cow some love!

Hey now that’s a great list! But, going back to killer titles. I don’t think “Friday Link Roundup” does it justice. How about something like “Blog Links That Make You Money” or something like this!
Just a thought!

Another great idea for a post. I just finished looking at Caroline’s post about how to make money without selling. The answers are not particularly illuminating. While some may find her stance to be admirable, I think that she is being too timid. If you have a great product that you know people will pay for, then by all means, sell it! You are doing yourself a disservice if you put in all that work and give it away for free in a manner that is not a part of a larger strategy.
Franklin, thanks for including me. I’m glad you find my articles worth sending your readers to.
Have a great weekend!
Good post Michael. Both StumbleUpon and Twitter can be great sources of traffic when used correctly. StumbleUpon, in particular, can quite simply flood you with traffic if your post gets a lot of thumbs up in a short period of time. I have a 5 month old post that still gets trickles of traffic from SU simply because people keep thumb it up.
The post on page views was nice. I am already trying a few things that he mentions. Namely, a post series and a list of related posts at the bottom of each one. The later is taking care of by YARPP – Yet Another Related Posts Plugin – which I recommend. I have still not had much success with AdSense, however.
Hey nice list man, I really liked the post of Chris Brogan…
Thanks for linking me!

Well thank you for stopping by. We have a great community going here and everyone is very helpful. Just ask me a question if you ever have one.
I liked Chris Brogan short piece. One thing that I might add to the ‘content’ section is this: Whenever I come across an interesting web page that I might want to blog about I bookmark it in a special folder. Later, if I am wondering what to write about, I can just go through that folder and (usually) find instant inspiration or something to address.
I am glad that Chris mentioned Zemanta. I just started using this tool and it is extremely helpful. I especially like the technorati tags suggestions. Here is a post on Zemanta: http://www.wordsellinc.com/blog/blogs/zemanta-blogs/
This was really interesting from Mr Javo’s post:
“Sell a text line on your RSS: Once again, the great RSS Footer plugin attacks, and this time is to give you a direct monetary profit. You can use it as advertising, selling a text-line of 50~80 characters for some bucks a month.”
Has anybody actually tried doing that? Man, if you have a large subscriber base that’s a brilliant idea!
WOW I have not finished the 24 ebooks yet and now this great list. Which to do first! I will have to read some of these and come back and give my 2 cents ina bit.
Digeratis last blog post..I’m On Facebook Now!
Ok I read that first one and it brings a question to mind that I have been meaning to ask. He touches on tracking in his #7 and I am doing so with statpress for wordpress and also google analytics and I find that they differ greatly in pageviews. Which is telling me the true and why is there such a differance?
I suppose that there could be many reasons. Make sure analytics is coded into every page that your site serves. I am not familiar with how Statpress works, but I have read horror stories from people who attempted to use it in a shared hosting environment. For example:

Great, even more reading materials to take up my time! It’s much appreciated though! Even though I haven’t gotten through the first list yet, I’m always on the lookout for more ideas for my blogs. I’m going to check out a few of them right now!
