Shoemoney ignores me on Twitter, funny

by Franklin Bishop on June 25, 2009

There are many people on twitter that seem to ignore their followers when they have a lot. I guess these people just appreciate their followers whenever they feel like it. Don’t get me wrong though, there are many people with a lot of followers that will try to respond to every question or statement that “needs” a response.

For Shoemoney, that his definitely not his style. I noticed a couple weeks ago that his background was not what it should have been. If you look below at the screenshot I took, then you will notice that his slogan says, “Skills to Play the Bills.” When it should say, “Skills to Pay the Bills.”

I tried to contact him four different times and never got a response on twitter. I decided that I would only try to tell him through twitter since it was his twitter background. I wanted to see how long it would take for him to respond to me or change his background. Well, obviously he never responded and never changed his background.

So is twitter a bad thing? Will this upset your readers if you do not respond to them on twitter? I know it doesn’t really bother me because it is really his problem. I am just surprised that he has never changed it considering all the people that come and go to his twitter page.

I know most people that have a lot of followers will respond to me, even if they are not following me. The point of this post is to try to see the point of view of others who also do not get responses from people with a lot of followers. I kind of feel bad for Shoemoney that someone created his background for him and didn’t even write the correct slogan. Maybe he will change it one of these days.

I’m sure Jeremy miss that as with his thousands of followers except you bro.

I’m not surprised at all to see all these “celebrities” not responding to their followers. I guess they think they are a celebrity, so they don’t even have to hear what their followers have to say.

John Chow however is the exception, he will always try to answer to all.

Anyway, I still have high respect for Shoemoney.

His Adsense check is the reason behind I started blogging, Thanks Shoe :)

It’s nice you try to help him, maybe he knows already and just to lazy to change it. Some people just have to many followers to keep up with them. I must admit that I don’t respond to every massage that comes through twitter. It seems lately people have been using mass sending of direct massaging to promote products. This is something I believe will become very problematic in the future.

send him e-mails, he will reply back for sure. To get response on twitter is difficult specially when the person(shoemoney) is following 9K twitter users.

It’s just a common curtesy to follow back people that follow you. Don’t understand anyone (apart from celebrities) that wouldn’t accept that.
