The follower/following ratio is key. I immediately have doubts about people when I see their numbers having huge numbers of “following.” It shows they don’t care about their followers and instead, just try and get more people to follow them.

It’s crucial to maintain discussions and respond intelligently to others. People will check out the pages you send them as long as you carry weight with your posts.

After reading so much about Twitter from successful bloggers, I’ve decided to give it a try. If it works, I’ll blog positively about it.

How much time should you spend on Twitter vs time spend on your blog?

Sometimes, I wonder about Twitter etiquette. People don’t necessarily mind when the more popular twitter celebrities don’t follow you back, so is it entirely necessary?

You’re giving some great advice here. Although Twitter has had break though success, I don’t think most bloggers don’t know how to use it to there advantage. This could be a great stepping stone for them though.

I have been working hard at the twitter adventure but I find it is like everything else, it requires time. I have a small following of about 200 but it seems to grow daily by one or two. Just got to keep at it I suppose. The Silent Majority
